# Recipes & World Control

***

### 📋 1. Custom Crafting Recipes

You can make recipes for your gear so players can craft them.

**How to do it:**

1. Open `/gevo editor` and click your item.
2. Click the **Crafting Table** icon.
3. Put the items in the grid to make the recipe.

**Things to know:**

* **Exact items:** If you use a custom item in the recipe, the player must use that exact same item to craft it.
* **Normal items:** If you use normal wood or stone, any type will work.
* **View recipes:** Players can type `/gevo recipe <id>` to see how to craft it.

***

### 🌐 2. World Control

You might not want people to level up their gear in the Lobby or a creative world.

**You can set this in two ways:**

* **In the Editor:** Every item has its own "Worlds" setting. You can pick which worlds are allowed.
* **In Global Settings:** You can set worlds that work for every item at once.

***

### 🛡️ 3. Stopping Cheaters

We have more tools to stop people from farming XP unfairly:

* ~~**No-AI Mobs:** You can lower the XP players get from mob spawners or "AFK" mobs.~~
* ~~**XP Cooldown:** You can add a small delay so players can't get XP too fast.~~

> \[!TIP] Use World Control to make sure players only level up in your survival or dungeon worlds.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://troxlabs.gitbook.io/gearevolution/recipes-and-world-control.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
